A social group has raised more than GBP500 for children diagnosed with brain tumours. The Owls, a women's social club at RAF Cottesmore, has organised a series of fundraising events this year - including coffee mornings, ladies' nights and craft fairs - to raise money for Stamford-based Anna's Hope charity. As well as raising funds for the charity, which supports children with brain tumours, The Owls also made a donation of books for a children's ward in Addenbrookes HospitalTechnorati Tag: Books
